ABOUT
Emma Cortellessa is a Philadelphia-based illustrator and designer specializing in children’s illustration.
Emma draws much of her inspiration from nature; flora and fauna are ongoing themes in her work. Filled with quirky characters, botanical backgrounds, and bold colors, Emma’s work aims to celebrate the absurd while maintaining a sense of innocence. She graduated with her BFA in Illustration from Moore College of Art & Design in 2020.

In her spare time Emma volunteers with her local cat rescue, Stray Cat Relief. She also enjoys reading, true crime podcasts, discussing film, and coffee dates with her partner.
